The Self-Advocacy Association of New York State (SANYS) meeting is a free event, open to all self-advocates and agencies, their families, staff and friends, from any parts of the five counties served by the Hudson Valley Region of SANYS – Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Sullivan or Putnam Counties. The Self-Advocacy Association of New York State (SANYS) is a statewide non-profit whose Mission is to help people with developmental disabilities learn to speak up for themselves and others.

SDMNY will discuss the tools for Supported Decision-Making and whether legal guardianship is necessary when an individual has access to Supported Decision-Making. Presenter: Samantha Stuber, LMSW
